We took a half-day tour of Athens, including the Acropolis Museum, and a full-day tour of the Peloponnese including Mycenae and Epidaurus. Our tour guide on both days was Anastasia, who provided excellent background information as well as a caring and empathetic response to our particular mobility issues. Highly recommended, but with some notes concerning accessibility. We inquired about the difficulty level of these tours and were told they were accessible with the exception of stairs to the top of the Acropolis. This needs to be written in capital letters - the Acropolis is absolutely inaccessible unless the rest of the tour members are willing to assist all along the way (ours did, but we were exhausted and they probably were also). Strongly suggest anyone with walking difficulties climb only a small portion of the way, to the first lookout which gives a fine view, and then go back down and spend extra time at the Museum, which is much more accessible. This is also true of the Mycenae trip, but to a lesser degree. There is a museum in Epidaurus which is also much easier to walk around than the hillside above it. That being said, the tours were good value for the cost and very enjoyable.
Many thanks for arranging these tours - thought you would like a little feedback. Both tours were very enjoyable Athens 1/2 day - the group was large so therefore it would have been useful for the guide to have a flag as a means of distinguishing her on the Acropolis Delphi - brilliant guide.
