Join this small-group walking tour for a scenic, seen-it-all stroll around the vibrant Athenian city and let us take you on a journey throughout ancient and modern Athens. Discover the Acropolis, the old city highlights and Ancient Agora with a local and knowledgeable guide.

After you arrive at our ticket office, your tour kicks off with the sacred Acropolis Hill. With a professional tour guide by your side, you will learn everything about the monumental buildings of the Acropolis, including the godly Parthenon, the Temple of Nike and the Erechtheion. Descending the Acropolis Hill and starting navigated in the capital of Greece, you will explore the emblematic buildings of Athens' neoclassical architecture by walking through Plaka, the picturesque "island-like" neighborhood, where the first builders of ancient Athens are located.

After a revealing walk through the old city, you will continue and reach the Ancient Agora site. Your expert guide will introduce you to the chain of events that made democracy possible in ancient Athens. You will learn about Solon, whose legal reforms paved the way for forming the earliest civil society in world history and many other ancient truths. As you continue your walk, you will visit the Museum of the Agora, and your expert guide will provide you with a rich pool of information for all the exhibits from this ancient treasure.

By the time we say goodbye, you'll have seen the best of Athens on a tour that encompasses the city's most essential elements: history, architecture, and the locals' everyday life.

As impressive as the Acropolis is, I found exploring the site of the Ancient Agora equally as impressive. I could easily have spent more time in the Agora. This tour is a no-brainer if you're visiting Athens.

No matter how impressive the Acropolis is, we preferred the Ancient Agora to the Acropolis to be honest because it had less tourists, magnificent buildings and statues which transports you to Ancient Greece in a heartbeat. Our guide Ana did the best she could to explain to us the long and complicated history of both sites. Overall we are happy with this tour. We would rebook.

We absolutely loved the Parthenon with it's vast history but we equally enjoyed the Ancient Agora, a must see in Athens. The temple is well preserved and you can have a nice walk around the grounds. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore sites with ancient history.

The parthenon and the ancient agora are some of the most important landmarks of Athens, a must visit.  It can be a bit sunny and hot, better bring along bottles of water. The tour was well organized and timed. We had a most enjoyable stroll around the grounds of both archaeological sites.

We had only a few hours in Athens on a flight layover. Our quide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She also did a great job including our children (ages 6 and up) and was happy to answer their questions. What an amazing experience.

Our tour guide was very good and professional. The tour was just the right amount of time - not too long or short - and covered the notable highlights that we all found interesting. Well worth the fee.

C'est vraiment un très belle endroit à visiter. De nombreuse structure encore debout et très bien entretenue. Autre lieu mythique d'Athènes ou se trouve un temple restauré entièrement avec son musée ou l'on peut voir de très belles amphores et autre statue
