Our story goes back to 1963 when some leading Greek travel agents decided to join forces and create a sightseeing operator to organize quality sightseeing tours and cruises. Initially in an office at Athens’ main Syntagma (Constitution) Square, KeyTours moved in 1991 to a spacious terminal and office building opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus, where it is still based today.
Today, we serve annually over 500.000 visitors to Greece, by organizing a wide range of scheduled excursions and numerous other tours on a private/tailor-made basis, as well as providing unique access, early admission, and exclusive privileges at Greece’s top archaeological sites and museums. KeyTours distributes its products via 500 contracted agents and approx. 400 hotel front desks.
Our team consists of dedicated, enthusiastic and talented licensed tour guides with deep knowledge of history, strong communication skills, and hospitable Greek ways, making them the elite of Athens guides. Handpicked for their expertise and passion, each guide is also an incredible storyteller, using anecdotes and insights to bring history to life before your eyes. Behind the scenes, there are many more members of our company handling marketing, operations and accounting duties to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Special emphasis is given to quality service standards. KeyTours uses luxury air-conditioned coaches with professional and experienced drivers, carefully selected multi-lingual, local tour guides and a variety of modern or traditional hotels in Athens or the mainland.
