The highlight for me was the 3rd century church made from the temple of apollo remains (BC). I highly recommend this tour, its another way of experiencing meteora and seeing things you would of probably not known worthwhile to visit!","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Mark Hu"},"datePublished":"2014-11-06","description":"Great company with endless knowledge.
I can't endorse these guys enough. I pI led up this tour as a last minute division before leaving Meteora and it was the perfect end to my time in Kastraki. The small group size and breath taking views by sunset are amazing. As you are slightly later in the day you also miss the majority of tourists as you watch the sun slowly disappear over the horizon.
A no brainer for me. Would recommend to everyone.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Christiek77"},"datePublished":"2014-11-06","description":"I can't say enough about George and this company. First, the tour was absolutely terrific with a terrific price. Well worth it. I can tell you that his small van took us all around the area, places that during the following day our coach could not navigate. If I had not taken this tour, I would have missed seeing half of the monasteries. George spoke English very well and told us all about the area during the 5 hour tour. But, this is not even what makes them amazing. After they dropped us off and we had stopped for a quick gyro, I realized that I didn't have my passport. We ran back to their office to see if they had it in the van. George and his colleagues spent at least a half hour trying to locate my passport; calling the police, hotel, etc. driving us around and eventually going to the police where, thankfully, it had just been turned in. They went above and beyond when they could have just said that they didn't have it. I highly recommend this tour company!","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":4.5,"bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"cpwflower"},"datePublished":"2014-11-12","description":"We really enjoyed the half-day tour through Meteora. From here he did an excellent job explaining to us the history, what we saw along way, recommended where the best shots were to shoot (although i am an amateur photographer, i still listened and he was right!) and gave us time to really take in the sites and have a great time. He did an excellent job to even give us an additional 15-20 minutes walk to show us another spectacular view of Meteora. Make sure you book this tour versus taking the regular bus. You really do get to see what the locals know and they show you their playground in beautiful Meteora.
Highly recommended and thank you Kostas!!!!","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Mr. Timothy Chapman"},"datePublished":"2023-04-05","description":"
We did the two day rail tour from Athens organised through Key Tours in Athens. . We did both the sunset tour and the morning tour. The two tours are mutually exclusive and there is very little duplication. The local guides Jim and Chris were outstanding both in terms of their knowledge, their explanations as well as their flexibility in terms of when we visited the monasteries or viewing points. Their local knowledge was clearly a great asset. Both tours included very nice walks through the forest. The evening tour included the bonus of a visit to the Church of Dormition on the edge of town where Jim was able to give a lot of relevant contextual information too. The comfortable minibus provided on both tours was excellently and safely driven. Thank you
The service from both you and your local partner in Kalambaka as well as ΟΣΕ and the Divani Meteora hotel was outstanding. We have used your services over the years whenever we are in Athens for other εκδρομές and will do again in the future.
