Kos is located in the south eastern Aegean Sea and it is the third largest island in the Dodecanese.
Kos is the birthplace of the father of medicine, Hippocrates, who founded the famous medical school of Kos.
The island has many interesting places to visit. In the town of Kos you can see the famous plane-tree of Hippocrates. You can visit the Archaeological Museum, the Ancient Agora, the Ancient Odeon, the Greek and Roman Baths, the Temple of Dionyssos, Casa Romana and the impressive Roman Castle of the Knights that overlooks the harbor of the island.
